Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, collaborative, and highly skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our multidisciplinary pediatric therapy team. The BCBA will provide behavior analytic assessment, treatment planning, caregiver education, staff training, and supervision of behavior technicians while ensuring ethical and evidence-based service delivery.


The ideal candidate values interdisciplinary collaboration and is passionate about helping children and families achieve meaningful outcomes through individualized treatment plans. Specifically, we are seeking a clinician who believes in following neurodiversity affirming practices and providing trauma-informed care.


Essential Responsibilities

Clinical Services

  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments, including functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and skills assessments.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  • Analyze behavioral data and make ongoing treatment recommendations.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment protocols as needed.
  • Ensure all services comply with BACB Ethics Code and applicable state regulations.
  • Complete clinical documentation, treatment plans, and progress reports within required timelines.

Supervision & Training

  • Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and behavior interventionists in accordance with BACB requirements.
  • Conduct competency assessments and provide performance feedback.
  • Train staff on behavior intervention procedures and data collection methods.
  • Participate in staff meetings, clinical consultations, and professional development activities.

Family & Team Collaboration

  • Provide parent and caregiver training to support skill generalization.
  • Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, educators, physicians, and other professionals.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning.
  • Maintain positive and professional communication with families and referral sources.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure clinical records are accurate, complete, and maintained according to agency policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program development.
  • Stay current with evidence-based practices and continuing education requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

Required

  • Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.
  • Current California licensure or registration requirements, if applicable.
  • Minimum 1 year experience providing ABA services as a BCBA.
  • Experience supervising RBTs and behavior intervention staff.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if providing in-person services).

Preferred

  • Pediatric experience.
  • Experience working in clinic, home, school, or early intervention settings.
  • Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Bilingual abilities (Spanish preferred).
