Fashion Design Intern
Location: Calabasas, CA (On-site)
Internship: Part-Time or Full-Time
We are looking for a passionate and creative Fashion Design Intern to join our Ready-to-Wear
Design team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is eager to learn every aspect of
the design and product development process, from initial concept through final production.
The ideal candidate has a strong interest in fashion design, draping, garment construction, and
product development, with excellent organizational skills and a desire to work in a fast-paced,
collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
 Assist the Design Team throughout the entire design and development process.
 Conduct trend, color, fabric, and market research.
 Support sketch development and technical flats.
 Assist with draping, fitting preparation, and garment evaluations.
 Help prepare and update tech packs.
 Organize and archive seasonal collections, fabrics, trims, and design files.
 Maintain design boards, sample racks, and fabric libraries.
 Assist with prototype reviews and sample tracking.
 Help prepare presentation materials for design meetings.
 Collaborate with Product Development, Technical Design.
 Perform additional design and administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
 Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
 Strong passion for fashion, draping, and garment construction.
 Basic understanding of pattern making and sewing techniques.
 Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
 Strong organizational and time-management skills.
 Excellent attention to detail.
 Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
 Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong communication skills.
Preferred Skills
 Experience with draping on a dress form.
 Knowledge of technical flats and garment construction.
 Experience creating tech packs.
 Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
 Experience with Procreate or CLO 3D is a plus.
