his outpatient Physical Therapist opportunity is based in Blue Island, Illinois, a historic community located just southwest of downtown Chicago. The clinic is a modern outpatient rehabilitation setting focused on delivering high-quality, evidence-based care. You will join a collaborative team of rehabilitation professionals dedicated to helping patients restore function, reduce pain, and improve quality of life. In this role, you will evaluate and treat a diverse outpatient caseload that may include orthopedic, sports, post-surgical, and neurologic conditions. Typical responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, individualized treatment plan development, progression of therapeutic exercise and functional activities, manual therapy interventions, patient and family education, and coordination of care with referring providers and other healthcare team members. You will be responsible for timely and accurate EMR documentation and for tracking clinical outcomes to support quality improvement and best practices. A typical day includes a steady but manageable schedule of patient appointments with time allotted for documentation and collaboration. Patient ratios are designed to support quality, one-on-one care and effective follow-up, while maintaining clinic efficiency. You may be involved in specialty programs such as post-operative rehabilitation, work injury management, balance and fall prevention, or sports performance, depending on clinic needs and your clinical interests. The schedule generally follows standard outpatient hours with some flexibility that may include early morning or early evening appointments to meet patient demand. The clinic fosters a supportive, team-based culture where therapists, assistants, and support staff work together to deliver an excellent patient experience and maintain a positive, professional work environment.
