As a Portfolio Associate on Stryker's Upper Extremities Upstream Marketing team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our growing Shoulder Arthroplasty implant portfolio. You'll dive into market analysis, gather critical customer insights, assess industry trends, and help drive strategic initiatives that influence major business decisions. This role gives you direct exposure to executive-level leaders and cross-functional teams while contributing to projects that directly impact patient outcomes. You'll gain hands-on experience in new market exploration, product and R&D support, and commercialization planning within one of the industry's most innovative divisions. WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Conduct market, competitive, and industry analysis to identify portfolio gaps and opportunities for innovation
  • Gather Voice of Customer (VOC) insights through conversations with surgeons and sales reps to understand real-world clinical and business needs
  • Attend trade shows, surgeon presentations, and field interactions, synthesizing key learnings to inform strategy
  • Translate complex information into clear, concise executive-level summaries and one-pagers that drive alignment and decision-making
  • Support cross-functional collaboration by communicating upstream project updates effectively to downstream and business partners
  • Partner with marketing managers to contribute to product strategy, roadmap discussions, and early-stage project development
  • Develop a foundational understanding of shoulder arthroplasty technologies and patient-matched solutions
  • Research new market segments, customer needs, and growth opportunities to support future-state portfolio planning
  • Contribute to business case development, insight generation, and early commercialization planning

WHAT YOU NEED
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 0+ years of work experience

Preferred:
  • Degree in Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering, Marketing, or related disciplines
  • At least a year of work experience supporting product development initiatives
  • Internship experience related to marketing, engineering (biomedical or mechanical), product development (R&D), or healthcare.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze information and translate it into actionable insights

United States of America Pay Ranges:
  • USN: $59,900 - $83,300 USD Annual

Travel Percentage: 30%
