At Endress+Hauser, progress happens by working together. As the global leader in measurement instrumentation, our ~18,000 employees shape the future in the field of process automation. Whether developing and realizing new technology as a team, collaborating to build instrumentation, or strengthening vital relationships with countless global industries, we work to create trusted relationships that help everyone thrive. As a family-owned company, we look beyond short-term moves and work to create a vision that is forward-thinking for our people, our clients, and the world at large.

We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to join our Flow Business Development team and help drive growth across North America by providing technical, commercial, and strategic support to our Sales Centers, with a primary focus on Canada and Mexico. In this role, you will serve as a critical link between customers, Sales Centers, product management, and business development teams, helping identify opportunities, solve application challenges, and strengthen our market position.

What is the role about?
Do you enjoy helping customers solve complex process measurement challenges? Are you skilled at balancing technical expertise with commercial strategy to drive business growth? Do you thrive when collaborating across international teams to support sales success and customer relationships?
If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. As an Area Sales Manager, you will partner closely with Sales Centers throughout North America while collaborating with colleagues in the United States and Switzerland. You'll support business development initiatives, customer engagement activities, product positioning, and market growth efforts that help strengthen Endress+Hauser's leadership in flow measurement solutions.

* Meet the basic requirements of employment by working safely, performing quality work, and executing tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
* Serve as the primary technical and commercial support resource for assigned North American Sales Centers, with a primary focus on Canada and Mexico.
* Provide application guidance, product selection, sizing assistance, specification review, and configuration validation for customer opportunities.
* Support quotation review, RFQs, bid packages, pricing strategy development, and commercial evaluations.
* Develop and deliver product training, customer training programs, webinars, and sales enablement materials.
* Gather market feedback, competitor intelligence, pricing insights, and lost-order information to support business growth initiatives.
* Support forecasting, opportunity tracking, sales reporting, and business planning activities.
* Collaborate with Sales Centers to achieve annual sales, bookings, and growth objectives through market development activities.
* Review and support national contracts, pricing agreements, discount structures, and project-specific commercial approvals.
* Apply flow measurement expertise, metrology principles, and industry standards to customer applications and compliance requirements.
* Lead or support product launches, product rollouts, customer visits, factory tours, and strategic growth initiatives.
* Create and maintain sales tools, training materials, tracking tools, and resources that improve Sales Center effectiveness.
* Coordinate communication and collaboration among Flow USA, Flow Switzerland, Sales Centers, and other key stakeholders.
* Perform additional duties as assigned.

What do we expect from you?
You:
* Hold a bachelor's degree in engineering, business, industrial technology, or a related field, or possess an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Have 4-6 years of experience in technical sales, sales support, business development, industrial instrumentation, process automation, or a related discipline.
* Possess a strong technical understanding of flow measurement technologies and industrial process applications.
* Demonstrate the ability to analyze technical, commercial, and contractual requirements and provide practical recommendations.
* Have experience delivering technical presentations, customer training, and product education.
* Exhibit excellent communication, relationship-building, and collaboration skills.
* Are comfortable managing multiple priorities across geographically dispersed teams and stakeholders.
* Are proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
* Can effectively respond to customer needs and business challenges with a solution-oriented mindset.
* Are willing to travel approximately 15%, including international travel.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Spanish language proficiency.
* Experience with SAP, CRM systems, and reporting tools.
* Experience supporting international sales organizations, distributors, or channel partners.
* Knowledge of custody transfer applications, metrology, and applicable industry standards.

What can you expect from us?

* Lifelong learning encouraged by versatile training, tuition reimbursement, success coaching, and further education opportunities.
* Comprehensive benefit package (to include medical, dental, vision) and 401(k) savings with company match.
* Compensation is competitive and includes bonus opportunities.
* Work-life balance encouraged through our 10 company-paid holidays, paid time off, paid parental leave, employee assistance programs (financial, mental, and physical health and wellbeing), and employee discounts.
