Bilingual Quality Assurance Inspector (HOURLY) Personal Care Products Manufacturing - Dallas/Fort Worth Area

Schedule: Mon - Thu 7am - 5:30pm. Occasionally OT on Fridays or Saturdays.

Job Overview:

The Quality Assurance Inspector will conduct thorough and detailed quality inspections of products during both inbound and outbound processes, identify issues through quality inspections, respond appropriately, and propose improvement solutions. Additionally, this position is responsible for inspecting, testing, and analyzing products, ensuring that issues are resolved through this process. The Quality Assurance Inspector will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards and meeting customer expectations, while also supporting R&D activities by ensuring product quality parameters are met during pilot runs and product trials.

Key Responsibilities:

● Inspection of in-process and finished goods to specification (fill weight, lot code, torque, appearance) per AQL Sampling Chart

● Incoming inspection of components per AQL Sampling Chart

● Perform sanitation check in production and compounding areas

● Line clearance for the packaging process

● Microbial testing (prepare media solutions, plates and test for aerobic plate count and yeast and mold

● Review test data (microbial, actives, torque, fill weight, and approve product for use and/or shipment.

● Support R&D by performing quality inspections on lab scale-ups and pilot batches to ensure alignment with manufacturing standards

● Move finished goods through the Acumatica ERP system.

● Review Production tickets and scan when completed

● Assist in SOP review and internal audits

● Assist in initiating deviation, non-conformance and destruction reports

● Assist in training production personnel

Qualifications & Experience:

● High School Diploma or equivalent

● Required 1–2 years in Personal Care or Cosmetics Products Manufacturing and a cGMP environment

● Bilingual English and Spanish required

● Strong written and verbal communications skills

● Demonstrate a team work ethic

● Ability to follow SOP’s and lab safety practices

● Experience with Microsoft word and excel

● Standing for long periods of time

● Walking for long periods of time

● Wearing PPE
