West Lafayette is home to over 40,000 residents. The county’s proximity to major highways and international airports makes it easily accessible for business and residents.
Here, we offer the opportunity to create your version of the American dream, whether you’re looking to grow your career, family or home.
In Tippecanoe County, life is all about state-of-the-art amenities in a small-town atmosphere. Downtown, the Wabash Riverfront District, houses seasonal waterfront events, or cross the river and take a trip to one of the many galleries and unique stores. Tour Big Ten School Purdue University and catch a football game at the Ross-Ade Stadium, basketball at the Mackey Arena, or test your golf game at either of the 2 championship golf courses at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex, all conveniently located on campus.
Spend some time outdoors at the Celery Bog Nature Area and take a bike ride or leisurely walk down the paved paths and keep an eye out to spot any of the 260 species of birds in the area. Located within the Nature area is the Lily Nature Center, featuring interactive exhibits and nature programs. Let the kids burn off energy at either of the oversized playgrounds at Happy Hollow Park, or explore the trails through the 80 acres of forest. During the warmer months, Cumberland Park hosts a farmers market with over 50 vendors to visit.
Grab lunch at Harry’s Chocolate Shop, or stop into Triple XXX Family Restaurant, and grab a burger and root beer from the small diner that was featured on the Food Network Show. Both locations have been serving the Chauncy Village District for over 100 years. Enjoy a variety of entertainment at one of the largest proscenium theaters in the world, the Elliott Hall of Music. The theater hosts a wide array of events from concerts, Broadway shows, debates and so much more!
