FNA is a dynamic organization with unprecedented growth due largely to its ability to attract and retain highly talented associates.We have a challenging and exciting opportunity for a Demand Planning Analyst II who is energetic, can multi-task and problem solve, and has the drive and motivation to learn and grow in a fast-paced setting in an expanding business.Primary Purpose:The Demand Planning Analyst II is responsible for supporting the demand forecasting and planning process through data analysis, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration. This role will help develop forecast insights, identify demand trends, improve forecasting accuracy, and support inventory planning decisions.The ideal candidate is an analytical professional with 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, inventory management, business analytics, or a related field. This position is designed for an individual who can independently analyze data and provide actionable recommendations while continuing to develop their planning expertise.Duties / Responsibilities:Forecasting & Demand AnalysisAnalyze historical sales, customer demand patterns, seasonality, and business trends to support forecast development.Assist in maintaining monthly demand forecasts across product categories.Identify forecast risks and opportunities and communicate findings to stakeholders.Monitor forecast performance and investigate significant variances.Support new product launches, promotions, and product transitions through demand analysis.Analytics & ReportingDevelop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs using Excel and Power BI.Analyze forecast accuracy, forecast bias, inventory levels, and service performance.Perform root-cause analysis on demand, inventory, and forecast variances.Provide insights and recommendations to improve planning performance.S&OP SupportSupport weekly sales review and S&OP processes.Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Supply Planning, and Finance to gather inputs and validate demand assumptions.Prepare materials and analyses for planning meetings.Inventory & Supply Chain SupportAssist in evaluating inventory levels and identifying potential supply or stocking risks.Collaborate with supply planning and procurement teams to support inventory optimization efforts.Monitor trends that may impact product availability or excess inventory.Process ImprovementRecommend improvements to forecasting methodologies, reporting, and planning processes.Assist with planning system enhancements and data quality initiatives.Support continuous improvement projects within the Supply Chain organization.Required Skills / Abilities:Core competencies should include: Analytical Thinking, Business Acumen, Data Visualization, Attention to Detail, Cross-Functional Collaboration, Strong Communication Skills, Continuous Improvement Mindset, Problem Solving and Strong Organizational Skills.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, and data analysis techniques.Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools preferred.Experience using ERP or MRP systems.Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities.SQL experience preferred but not required.Education and Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Operations Management, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain analysis, inventory management, forecasting, financial analysis, or related analytical roles.Experience working with large datasets and translating findings into business recommendations.Experience supporting forecasting, inventory, or operational planning activities preferred.Work Hours:Monday - Friday, 8am - 5:00pm with occasional extended hours as required to complete assignments.
