How Will You Contribute?
Position Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate movement of product. This role manages and directs union warehouse staff in receiving, picking, loading, inventory control, and shipping functions. The Warehouse Supervisor ensures compliance with company policies, collective bargaining agreements, safety standards, and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, order selection, replenishment, loading, and shipping.
  • Direct, motivate, and monitor union employees while ensuring adherence to the collective bargaining agreement (CBA).
  • Coordinate labor assignments and scheduling to meet operational requirements.
  • Ensure accuracy of orders through proper checking, staging, and load-out procedures.
  • Partner with the Logistics and Delivery teams to ensure timely and complete fulfillment of customer orders.
  • Monitor inventory levels, report discrepancies, and assist with cycle counts and audits.
  • Enforce safety and sanitation standards to maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant warehouse.
  • Train and coach staff on best practices, productivity, and safety procedures.
  • Address performance issues in alignment with company policy and union contract, escalating as needed.
  • Participate in labor-management communication and resolve day-to-day issues fairly and consistently.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports related to warehouse activities, productivity, and attendance.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce errors or waste.
  • Managing, training, developing and regular work with time for all direct reports.

Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of warehouse supervisory experience, preferably in beverage distribution.
  • Experience supervising unionized employees strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics best practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), Microsoft Office, and RF scanning technology.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a warehouse environment (cold, hot, or noisy conditions).

Salary: $60,000.00-$65,000.00It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
