Job description

At NASCAR, you will work alongside passionate people creating experiences fans feel and helping shape the future of sports and entertainment.

The Manager, Interactive Applications shapes and optimizes NASCARโ€™s fan-facing digital experiences across the NASCAR Tracks App and track websites. These platforms are critical touchpoints in the fan journey, educating fans on race-day experiences while driving ticket purchases and on-site engagement. This role owns the ongoing maintenance, performance, and optimization of these digital properties, with a strong focus on conversion rate optimization (CRO).

Responsibilities
  • Own day-to-day management, maintenance, and optimization of the NASCAR Tracks App and track websites.
  • Lead CRO strategy to improve fan journeys and increase ticket sales and revenue.
  • Analyze fan behavior, site and app performance, and funnel metrics to identify friction points and opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with Marketing, Product, and Analytics teams to align digital experiences with campaign strategies and business goals.
  • Monitor KPIs related to site and app engagement, conversion, and revenue performance, and deliver actionable insights.
  • Manage relationships with external digital vendors supporting chatbots, interactive maps, and other fan experience tools.
  • Collaborate with internal ticket operations stakeholders to optimize the handoff from NASCAR platforms to the Ticketmaster purchase flow.
  • Identify and implement new tools, features, and enhancements to improve the fan experience and drive business outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in digital product management and/or web and app optimization.
  • Experience in sports, entertainment, live events, or ticketing preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required, with an ability to earn trust, provide updates, and respond to questions from internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong mathematical skills, with an ability to interpret funnel metrics, conversion rates, and revenue performance.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, and WordPress or comparable CMS.
  • Familiar with: Adobe Target or comparable personalization and testing platform, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Jira/Confluence, app CMS platforms, conversion optimization tools, and basic HTML/CSS.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and passionate about sports and marketing.
  • Travel: Approximately 10%, including select weekends and events.
