Job description

Stamm Media designs and builds interactive media and real-time visual experiences for tradeshows, corporate events, and permanent installations. Our work spans large-format LED walls, touchscreen applications, immersive environments, and sensor-driven installations. We bring complex ideas to life through motion, interaction, and physical space.

We’re looking for a designer who can visualize and communicate interactive experiences through storyboards, design mockups, and previsualizations. This role focuses on translating ideas and product messaging into clear, compelling experiences across kiosks, architectural displays, and multi-screen environments, as well as supporting web and mobile displays connected to those systems.

You’ll help define how audiences move through an experience—what they see, how it responds, and how the story unfolds.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop visual concepts, storyboards, and design mockups that define the structure and flow of interactive experiences
  • Create previsualizations, motion studies, and layout mockups to communicate timing, behavior, and spatial context
  • Translate product messaging and abstract ideas into clear visual experience designs
  • Design interface layouts and visual systems for kiosks, touchscreen applications, and large-format displays
  • Prepare organized, implementation-ready assets, including image and vector files, typography, and formatting specifications
  • Collaborate closely with developers and creative leads to ensure the final built experience matches the original design vision
  • Present and explain design concepts, storyboards, and mockups to clients and internal teams

Required Skills

  • Experience creating storyboards, design mockups, and previsualizations for interactive or spatial experiences
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to present and explain storyboards, design mockups, and previsualizations to clients and internal teams
  • Proficiency with standard interface design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.), with the ability to create well-organized design files and export implementation-ready image and vector assets
  • Strong visual design skills, including layout, typography, and composition across a range of display sizes and resolutions
  • Ability to translate concepts and messaging into clear visual experiences

Preferred

  • Experience with motion design tools such as After Effects or similar
  • Familiarity with 3D tools such as Blender, Cinema 4D, or similar for spatial mockups and previsualization
  • Background in experiential design, exhibit design, immersive media, or installation-based work
  • Familiarity with real-time platforms such as Unity or TouchDesigner
  • Familiarity with audio editing or synchronizing visuals with sound

Portfolio Required

A portfolio is required for consideration. It should demonstrate strong visual thinking and the ability to communicate interactive or motion-based experiences. Applications without a portfolio will not be reviewed.
