Millwood’s caring, and multidisciplinary staff has successfully provided inpatient and outpatient mental health and chemical dependency care to children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults since 1971. Millwood Hospital is located in Arlington, TX in the heart of the city.  It is 5 minutes away from AT&T Stadium home of the Dallas Cowboys. The hospital is less than 35 minutes from DFW International Airport.   Millwood Hospital is a Joint Commission accredited hospital with a solid reputation in the community and is part of one of the nation’s largest and most respected providers of hospital and healthcare services, Universal Health Services, Inc.

Business Development Representative/ Community Liaison

The Business Development Representative/ Community Liaison implements the philosophy, policy, procedures, systems and strategic goals set forth by the senior management team while maximizing referral potentials by providing education to new and existing community professionals to achieve the goals and objectives of the community education systems.  This position will cover the DFW area.

Licensed clinicians are encouraged to apply: LPC, LPC-A, LMSW or LCSW.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field required.  Experience may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis in lieu of a degree.

Experience: Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in health care business development/marketing

environment with measurable business development results, and a knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles, preferred.  Prior marketing and sales experience highly desirable.

Licensure: Must have a valid driver's license. Licensed clinicians are encouraged to apply: LPC, LPC-A, LMSW or LCSW.

Additional Requirements: : Prefer knowledge of the Dallas area behavioral health marketplace, insurance plans, target markets and referral sources, psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment and, age-specific programming.  Must possess demonstrated business development concepts, sales abilities, competency in computer usage, and excellent written and oral communication skills; knowledge of and skills in application of marketing and sales principles and tactics; creativity and flexibility; skills in data collection analysis and interpretation; record of adherence to deadlines; customer service skills; willingness to travel, including overnight travel as required.
