Job description

Data Analyst
Location: Raleigh, NC 27607 (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months+
The Data Analyst will support a transparency and oversight program by ingesting, validating, analyzing, and reporting structured data related to manufacturer pricing, drug submissions, and compliance metrics. The role requires strong analytical, governance, and Power BI capabilities to support internal monitoring, public reporting, and policy decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ingest, clean, and validate manufacturer price increase notices, new drug submissions, and related datasets to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain and version the metric dictionary and annual report definitions
  • Develop, maintain, and refresh Power BI dashboards for internal monitoring and public-facing transparency reporting
  • Monitor submission activity and compliance metrics, supporting operational reporting and oversight functions
  • Analyze trends in drug pricing, cost drivers, submission patterns, and non-compliance risks to support policy and program decisions
  • Create automated dashboards, visualizations, and analytic summaries for leadership and stakeholders
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with applicable state and federal regulations (e.g., HIPAA, trade secret protections)
  • Collaborate with IT, Legal, and program teams to improve data pipelines, workflows, and reporting systems
  • Maintain documentation, metadata, and governance standards supporting transparency initiatives
  • Provide ad hoc analytics and reporting support for policy development, legislative requests, and external stakeholders
