Caviness Beef Packers, LTD is a progressive beef packer and further processor whose products are marketed through a variety of foodservice and retail channels.
Caviness Beef Packers has been family owned and operated for over 60 Years and is currently led by 2nd and 3rd generation family members. Since 1962, Caviness has remained one of the most relationship oriented companies in the beef industry. The business has grown from harvesting a handful of cattle, in the early days, to 2900 head processed each day. Today, the company operates two processing locations and markets products worldwide.

Your Mission

As a Quality Assurance Technician - Amarillo Ground Beef, you'll help keep our ground beef operation running sharp by verifying product and process compliance and protecting food safety every shift.
Key responsibilities include:
- Perform pre-operational inspections of equipment and facility areas
- Monitor and record quality for raw materials, packaging, and finished product
- Evaluate product against customer specifications
- Communicate clearly and professionally with line employees and staff
- Support QA Management with additional assigned tasks
- Observe personnel and facility conditions to help ensure food safety program compliance
- Report deficiencies to plant management and help drive timely corrective action
Required qualifications/skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior QA experience; solid work history
- Read/write/speak English; bilingual is a plus
- Basic math and computer skills (tablets a plus); able to interpret charts, graphs, and logs
- Strong analytical, logical problem-solving skills

Most days wrap at the end of production, with occasional Saturdays when operations demand it-perfect for someone who likes momentum, clear standards, and the thrill of helping deliver a product that meets the mark.
