Job description

Beckhoff Automation is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Regional Sales Coordinator (RSC) to support sales execution, campaign delivery, and strategic customer engagement. In this cross-functional role, you’ll collaborate with Sales Engineers, the Regional Sales Manager, and marketing teams to drive outreach, manage CRM systems, and coordinate sales strategy across the region.

The RSC is a critical connector — helping translate insights into action, aligning internal teams, and contributing to a high-quality customer experience. Key Responsibilities

Sales Support & Execution

  • Support territory and account planning with lead identification and qualification
  • Manage regional sales campaigns, outreach initiatives, and customer events
  • Serve as a point of contact for select strategic accounts, partnering with the account team
  • Join occasional customer visits to support sales development and relationship-building

CRM & Data Leadership

  • Champion CRM adoption and data integrity across the regional team
  • Support contact, account, and opportunity tracking in CRM systems
  • Collaborate with Business Intelligence to surface customer insights and prioritize outreach

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with marketing on regional campaigns, trade shows, and training sessions
  • Work with academic institutions to expand Beckhoff’s educational presence
  • Help streamline internal processes and delegate administrative tasks appropriately

    Work Location

    This position follows a remote/hybrid work model, requiring the Regional Sales Coordinator to be on-site at our Denver office, San Jose office, or Los Angeles office for customer meetings, customer trainings, and team collaboration, while allowing flexibility to work remotely on other days. This approach ensures strong customer engagement and effective teamwork, balanced with work-life flexibility.


    Travel

    This position requires varying travel ranging from 15-30% which may include day trips, overnight stays, and occasional extended travel depending on business needs. Travel may be local, regional, or national. All travel-related expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with company policy.     • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Business (or equivalent experience).
    • 2+ years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or a related technical field.
    • Excellent communicator with strong organizational skills and a commercial mindset.
    • Proficient in CRM platforms, business systems, and Microsoft Office tools.
    • Although this position may be performed from an Eastern Time location, the role is dedicated to our Pacific Time customers. As a result, your regular working hours will follow Pacific Time business hours to ensure real-time support and collaboration.
