Overview of the Role:
The Business Development Representative (BDR) role is part of our Sales Development Organization - the engine behind new business growth at Salesforce, the #1 AI CRM. We are looking for a motivated BDR to partner with our outbound sales teams, drive pipeline through strategic prospecting, and launch a high-impact sales career at a company leading the agentic era.
Responsibilities:
  • Generate new business pipeline through outbound prospecting and cold calling across existing Salesforce customers and net new logos in an assigned territory
  • Partner with account teams to identify and source pipeline by researching lines of business, personas, and key decision makers
  • Manage and nurture inbound leads and early-stage opportunities driven by outbound efforts
  • Participate in an intensive sales training program designed to build the foundational skills needed for a long-term career in sales

Required Qualifications:
  • Experience with outbound prospecting, cold calling, and account research across a mix of new and existing accounts
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage decision makers at multiple levels
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding goals and metrics

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field
  • Experience with account planning and working a hybrid list of net-new and existing install accounts
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools
