Job description

Daniels Long Chevrolet is searching for a Sales Business Development Center Manager to oversee and supervise our BDC Team.

The salary is $5,000 per month plus commission (Salary, Commission and Bonuses).

Position Summary:

The Internet Manager is responsible for managing all leads and setting appointments for the sales departments using the company's lead management system and templates. The appropriate candidate must present a professional appearance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain customer follow-up system to encourage repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction.
  • Capture all internet leads. Respond within timely manner using approved procedures.
  • Work internet leads and follow-up.
  • Set appointments for sales department.
  • Answer incoming sales calls as appropriate.
  • Grammar and spell check required on all outgoing e-mail.
  • Follow established procedure to ensure continued management of internet leads during prolonged absence.
  • Understand the terminology of the automobile business, be informed on technological changes in the products and be able to communicate this information to customers.
  • Know and understand federal, state and local laws which govern auto sales.
  • Keep informed of new products, features, accessories, etc. and their benefits to customers.
  • Properly introduce customer to the sales department.
  • Help maintain internet inventory and website. Upload pictures and pricing (rebates, new vehicles, used vehicles). Delete sold units. Enhance vehicle description as necessary.
  • Follow established procedures for safeguarding customer information.
  • Provide reports to management as directed.
  • Complete all training as directed by supervisor.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Educational: High school diploma or the equivalent.

Experience: Three to five years automotive retail sales experience

Special Skills (i.e., licenses, certifications): Excellent oral and written communication skills. Good judgment. Ability to use personal computer applications including word processing and spreadsheet software. Current valid driver's license and state sales license.
