Job Description
BCS Allegient has a 35-year history of helping government, research, and private sector clients implement their programs and missions to achieve success. We offer a breadth of professional support services in the areas of business management, communications, systems engineering, analysis, mission execution, and organization performance. BCS Allegient is looking for a Mid-Level Program Engineer to join our team at the Office of Naval Research in Arlington, VA. This position will require you to be onsite up to 3 days per week.
Role Responsibilities
  • Interfacing with various technical performers on behalf of program office
  • Review Technology research for proposal Submission
  • Help develop detailed Power Point Presentations
  • Prepare Technical and Programmatic documentation for government customer using MS Office Suite
  • Prepare and present technical information at meetings and design reviews on behalf of the government customer. This includes meeting minutes after action reports and follow-ups

Job Requirements
  • A master's degree from an accredited college or university in a technical field related to the areas of science and technology investment with a minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Substitution for education may be allowed as follows: A minimum of 2 years of Program Management or Program Management support experience with a PhD degree; or a minimum of 10 years of Program Management or Program Management support experience related to science and technology with a bachelor's degree
  • Program Management or Program Management support experience in Science and Technology or Acquisition Program Management
  • Experience and proficiency in the following: Microsoft Office 365 (specifically, Word, Power Point, Outlook, SharePoint Online, Teams and Excel); Communicating clearly, effectively, both orally verbally and in writing; Being effective working independently and collaboratively; Organizing and coordinating meetings
  • Secret clearance required

Desired Qualifications
  • Current, or ability to obtain, Top Secret SCI Clearance
  • DAWIA certification or Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Managers (FAC-P/PM) certification, or commercially available Project Management Certification (PMP)
  • Prior Department of Defense (DoD) or Department of Navy (DON) experience
