Job Description
SUMMARY
Under the direction of the General Counsel
provide legal and corporate support to In-House Attorneys in all litigation
matters and special projects as needed as well as day-to-day support to General
Counsel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Organize, manage and update company
litigation files/pleadings.
Coordinate with outside legal counsel the
identification of witnesses, documents, and other relevant matters which are
the subject of litigation and/or administrative matters.
Proofread pleadings, briefs and other
documents as required.
Coordinate and prepare In-House Attorneys and
for company meetings, hearings, mediations and/or trials.
As necessary, attend key depositions,
mediations and trials as assigned.
Coordinate and update various databases and
the management of e-discovery.
Review, analyze and prepare responses to
discovery and assist in the investigation of facts and allegations involved in
discovery.
Assist with preparing documents for
production and witness files to be used at depositions or trials.
Draft, edit and proofread cover letters,
internal and administrative memos and documents.
Perform searches in various litigation and
public databases.
Schedule and track depositions, filing
deadlines, etc.
Assist with the creation and maintenance of
case chronologies.
Index and summarize documents and
depositions.
Coordinate discovery and/or filings with
courts or government agencies.
Perform legal and factual research.
Assist with creation of privilege logs.
Review outside counsel billings, track
against budgets, and distribute within the company.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS,
AND ABILITIES:

Demonstrate the ability to communicate
clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to provide quality communication to
both internal and external contacts, regarding matters of a routine nature
requiring ordinary tact and courtesy.

Ability to apply technical knowledge or
guidance, analyze and interpret data from several sources, solve problems by
applying precedent or extrapolating from previous experience.
Strong attention to detail, including
superior spelling and grammar.
Demonstrate ability to work effectively with

in department efforts.
Ability to interact effectively and
professionally with attorneys, company officials and colleagues.
Demonstrate basic knowledge of Word, Excel,
and PowerPoint.
Demonstrate records management skills.
Ability to travel or work overtime as
necessary.
Must be able to balance multiple demands, at
times, with short time constraints.
Employee will be working for multiple attorneys
and must be able to satisfactorily manage multiple demands on their time and in
a timely manner.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree preferred. ABA Paralegal Certification preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years of increasingly
