Lockheed Martin Skunk Works and its ISR & UAS line-of-business, seeks a motivated and enthusiastic full-time Early Career Survivability Engineer candidate to join the Signature Management & Survivability Team. Specifically, we seek to identify a candidate with expertise or willingness to learn one of the following disciplines:
- Aircraft stealth signature reduction and low observables (LO) phenomenology
- Radar cross section (RCS) susceptibility
- Electromagnetics (EM), computational electromagnetics (CEM)
- LO project/program management
Typical responsibilities may include:
- Responsible for performing, analyzing, and communicating vehicle signature predictions using Unix-based codes and tools.
- Engagement in the research, design, computational electromagnetic modeling, fabricating, and testing of advanced electromagnetic metamaterials.
- Responsible for planning, performing, post-processing, and communicating the results oflaboratory, field, flight, and vehicle signature measurements.
- Writing and using scripts to batch analysis and post-processing.
The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of working in a lab environment and hands on build experience. Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
