To thrive as a BAS Technician, you need a solid understanding of HVAC systems, electrical fundamentals, and IT networking, often supported by technical certifications or an associate degree in a related field. Familiarity with industry-standard BAS software platforms, PLC programming, and tools like Tridium Niagara or Siemens Desigo is typically required.
