About the role:

As a Control Systems Engineer, you will perform assigned technical tasks while developing an understanding of control system design practices, engineering standards, and lifecycle processes.

You will report to the Control & Information System Engineering manager and work a hybrid role based in Cranberry, PA. Relocation is not available for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the design and implementation of industrial control system solutions in accordance with customer, regulatory, and internal requirements.
  • Assist with the development of control logic, configuration, and Human Machine Interface functionality using standard industrial control system platforms and engineering tools.
  • Support the specification and integration of control system components, which may include controllers, IO, networks, power distribution, and interfaces.
  • Assist with engineering analyses such as basic calculations, reviews, or assessments as assigned.
  • Support requirements interpretation and traceability activities within the control systems discipline.
  • Prepare and update engineering documentation, drawings, and specifications following established procedures and standards.
  • Support verification and validation activities, including development of test documentation, factory acceptance testing, and systemlevel testing activities.

Role may require up to 25% travel to support customer systems and critical project milestones.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear or Computer Engineering.
  • 0 -3 years of engineering experience in industrial control systems or a related technical field.
  • Experience in control systems, automation, or related engineering fields is helpful.
  • Exposure to Programmable Logic Controller, Distributed Control System, or industrial automation platforms through coursework, internships, or academic projects.
  • Experience with engineering documentation such as schematics, P&IDs, or system diagrams.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. We estimate the base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, to be $58,400 to $73,000 annually.
