BAS Controls Technician - $85K-$110K + 10% Bonus - Denver, CO (25% Local / 75% Travel)About the Opportunity:

A well-established provider of HVAC, Controls, and Data Center Solutions is seeking an experienced BAS Controls Technician based in the Denver, CO region. This role blends local project work (25%) with extensive travel (up to 75%) to major markets such as Ashburn, VA; Atlanta, GA; New York, NY; Minneapolis, MN; San Diego, CA; and additional nationwide sites.

This position is ideal for a technician with solid building automation experience who wants to support mission-critical environments including data centers, healthcare facilities, and government infrastructure while working for a rapidly expanding organization.

Position Details:
  • Title: BAS Controls Technician
  • Location: Denver, CO (25% Local Work)
  • Travel: Up to 75% to project locations across major U.S. cities
Key Responsibilities:
  • Commission, configure, and troubleshoot Tridium/Niagara controllers
  • Service and support a variety of open and proprietary BAS platforms
  • Execute point-to-point device checkout and verify system functionality
  • Integrate systems using Modbus, BACnet, and TCP/IP communication protocols
  • Install DDC controllers, sensors, relays, and control-related hardware
  • Assemble, wire, and test low-voltage control panels and devices
  • Terminate, label, and maintain low-voltage cabling in an organized manner
  • Calibrate sensors, actuators, and field devices to ensure proper operation
  • Document commissioning activities and submit daily test logs
