Job Description
Bard Manufacturing Company, a leading manufacturer of commercial Heating and Air Conditioning systems has an immediate opening for a Press Brake Operator in our Madison, Ga. facility. This is a WEEKEND SHIFT - 12 hours, 3-day week schedule Friday-Sunday 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM.
For over 112 years, Bard Manufacturing Company has been a family owned and operated company, leading the HVAC industry in light commercial, educational, and telecommunications markets. With production facilities in Ohio, Georgia and Mexico, we service our customers both nationwide and internationally by designing and manufacturing cutting-edge engineered products.
Summary:
Operates power fabrication machines to bend or punch parts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Bends and punches parts in accordance with production guidelines.
  • Performs spot checks of products to ensure adherence to approved quality standards.
  • Notifies supervisor of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions.
  • Adheres to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.
  • Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills
Skills/Knowledge/Qualifications
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for 12 hours.
  • Physically agile and dexterous.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Must be self-motivated.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED is required
  • Ability to read and understand safety procedures and work instructions in English
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English with customers and team members.
