Order Picker / Shipper Bowerston, OH
We are currently hiring an Order Picker / Shipper in Bowerston. This role is responsible for accurately, safely, and efficiently picking and preparing customer orders while following all company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Additional duties may be assigned based on workload and business needs.
Schedule & Pay:
Hours: MondayFriday, 6:30 AM 3:00 PM
Pay Rate: $14.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately pick, prepare, stage, and verify customer orders.
Use a barcode scanner and computer system daily to locate items, complete transactions, and maintain inventory accuracy.
Complete shipping documentation clearly and accurately (Pick Tickets, Bills of Lading, ID tags, etc.).
Perform accurate item and package counts.
Operate basic shipping equipment such as stretch wrappers, tape guns, and banders.
Restock and count inventory as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Follow all instructions, safety guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Physical Requirements
This position requires continuous physical activity, including:
Standing, walking, squatting, bending, and reaching (above and below shoulder height)
Grasping and lifting while performing essential job duties
Qualifications
Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
Ability to read, write, and complete paperwork legibly and accurately.
Comfortable using barcode scanners and computers.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Self-motivated, dependable, and able to multitask.
Willingness to assist with general warehouse cleaning and upkeep.
