Position Details: Our historic, luxury boutique Hotel Saranac, is searching for a Banquet Captain to elevate events with us. As a Banquet Captain at Hotel Saranac, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of guest service within our Food and Beverage department. You will lead and supervise banquet operations, striving to exceed guest service standards as set by the brand and management company. This position requires effective team management skills and the ability to act as a liaison between the banquet staff and F&B management team. Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate banquet operations to ensure seamless service delivery during assigned shifts.
  • Maintain and exceed guest service standards established by the brand and management company.
  • Act as a point of contact and problem solver for guests and team members during events.
  • Delegate tasks to banquet servers, bartenders, and housepersons as necessary, ensuring each team member understands their responsibilities.
  • Provide training and support to banquet staff to maintain high service standards and professionalism.
  • Ensure all banquet setups are completed according to event orders and specifications.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet spaces and equipment.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of events as needed.
