Briar Hall LLC, a full-service private family office in downtown Chicago is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Financial Operations Associate to join a team that oversees financial transactions, account management, and operational workflows.


Job responsibilities

  • Prepare banking paperwork for new account openings, account maintenance, and portal enrollments
  • Process cash and security disbursements, invoices, capital calls, and tax payments
  • Monitor shared email inboxes and coordinate any related follow-up items
  • Initiate wires, ACH, DTC transfers, and check requests
  • Deposit and retrieve checks (bank or mobile app)
  • Manage documents, statements, and tax portal accounts
  • Maintain CRM and file share organization and accuracy
  • Support operational projects and train team members on operational procedures
