Qualifications:
  • Valid New Jersey Teaching Certificate
  • Such alternatives to the above qualification as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

Reports To: Building Principal
Job Goal: To assist the Band Director in preparing, instructing, and guiding students in percussion, supporting both the instructional program and extracurricular activities to ensure successful Marching Band performances.
Performance Responsibilities:
  1. Assist with rehearsals, parades, and competitions.
  2. Provide small group or sectional instruction to strengthen student performance in the area of percussion.
  3. Support the Director in organizing music, instruments, and equipment.
  4. Help supervise students at rehearsals, performances, and trips.
