VICE PRESIDENT POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Vice President position is a unique opportunity to join a small and passionate investment team and play an active role in all elements of the business. This role includes partnering with experienced private equity investment professionals to drive both financial and impact value throughout our investment processes and ownership periods.

The Vice President experience will be characterized by significant deal responsibilities, broad exposure to all aspects of the investment process, and substantial direct interaction with senior partners and senior portfolio company executives. The Vice President will play a key role in evaluating new potential investment opportunities, helping to drive our investment decision process, and partnering with portfolio company leadership to create value. In addition to the core investment process, the Vice President will also work with the broader BCDI team to evaluate key sectors, develop differentiated impact theses, and source attractive opportunities. Bain Capital professionals are exposed to a broad set of situations and companies, and systematically develop skills as fundamental, value-added investors.

Highly successful Vice Presidents have demonstrated the ability to execute fundamental strategic analysis, apply sound business judgment, interact as peers with senior executives and manage complex, fast-moving processes. These individuals are typically self-starters, feel a strong sense of ownership of their work, and have excellent team and interpersonal skills.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of work experience in management consulting and/or investment management

COMPENSATION:

Expected Annual Base Salary $200,000


This is the expected annual base salary range for this position. Actual base salary will be determined by a wide range of factors including but not limited to role, function, level, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
