Job Overview:

The Credit Analyst processes applications fromnew customers as well as existing ones who like toestablishcredit termsor adjust their current credit line.The analyst reviews the application for indications of fraud andperformnecessary research to conduct backgroundcheck.S/he interacts with customers in a timely manner to gather necessary information required to process the application.Up onapproval,the analystupdatesthe customer profile, enter credit limitsin tothe system and informs theapplicantthe result of theirapplication.In conjunction with the team, s/he manages department phone queueline,mailbox,requests from Sales, A/R etc. Additionally, the Analyst monitorscustomer’saccountson an annual basis and produces reports as needed.

  • Processing business credit applications for credit terms account.
  • Investigating and assessing credit worthiness of applicants.
  • Setting up open accounts with a credit limit and entering pertinent verified information on the account profile.
  • Assisting and communicating with Sales, Marketing, A/ R, financial institutions and businesses on ongoing daily issues, requests.
  • Performing periodical review through scoring or requesting update d credit information on existing active accounts with high activity/volume.
