Key responsibilities

  • Repurpose and publish content across LinkedIn, including newsletters, articles, and scheduled posts.

  • Capture and edit short educational videos and repurpose them for platforms such as LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Meta.

  • Maintain an active, professional presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, ensuring pages stay current, especially during retargeting campaigns.

Job description

Most content never gets seen. Not because it's bad, because it never gets out.

At Campus Commandos, we're sitting on 16+ years of stories, research, and moments that the world hasn't seen yet. We're looking for the person who gets excited about changing that.

Who We Are

Campus Commandos has spent 16+ years at the intersection of brand marketing and college culture. We've worked with enterprise-level brands - including a 9-year partnership with the Coca-Cola Student Ambassador Program - building campaigns that reach students where they actually are. We're a tight-knit team that moves fast, learns constantly, and takes our work seriously - without taking ourselves too seriously.

Why This Role Exists Now

AI-powered search is changing how companies get discovered. Visibility now depends on consistent, multi-platform content presence. We have the strategy. We have the content. We need the executor who can bring it to life, now.

About the Role

This is not a strategy-from-scratch role, we have a wealth of existing content, research, and stories ready to be activated. If you're organized, able to shoot and edit short-form video, and love the craft of repurposing content across channels, this role was built for you.

Our philosophy: One Piece of Content → multiple pieces of platform-specific content.

What You'll Do

LinkedIn Content

  • Repurpose and publish 1 LinkedIn newsletter per month
  • Repurpose and publish 1 LinkedIn article per month
  • Repurpose and schedule 3 posts per week
  • Monitor performance and boost top-performing content

Video Content & Repurposing

  • Participate in one content creation day per month with the team
  • Capture and edit short educational videos answering common questions
  • Repurpose into: LinkedIn posts/articles, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok clips, and Meta posts

Blog & Written Content

  • Repurpose existing blogs into social-ready content
  • Transform long-form content into short-form posts
  • Extract snippets for video scripts and graphics
  • Adapt tone and messaging for each platform

Social Media Presence
Maintain an active, professional presence across LinkedIn (primary), Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube - ensuring all pages stay current, especially during retargeting campaigns.

Performance & Optimization
Regularly review engagement rates, watch time, saves/shares, top-performing topics, and platform performance - then use those insights to sharpen our strategy.

Who You Are

You're probably someone who has a personal TikTok or Instagram where you experiment with content themes. You notice when a brand's social presence feels stale. You've repurposed a video into 4 different formats just because you could. You geek out on why one post outperforms another.

Required Skills:

  • Multi-platform social media experience
  • Comfort on camera and in collaborative video shoots
  • Short-form video shooting and editing skills (Reels, Shorts, TikTok)
  • Familiarity with content repurposing workflows
  • You track what works and adjust

You'll Thrive Here If You Are:

  • Curious & adaptable - this space evolves fast
  • Consistent & organized - you hit deadlines
  • Self-directed - you don't need to be micromanaged

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation based on experience (full-time salaried or hourly arrangements considered)
  • Health & Dental Insurance
  • Bi-weekly professional development sessions. We invest in your growth, not just your output
  • Access to AI tools and subscriptions
  • A collaborative team with a rich content library ready to go

How to Apply

Think you're the right fit? We'd love to see your work.

  1. Your resume
  2. A portfolio link -show us video content you've created, social media you've managed, and content repurposed across platforms
  3. A brief note (3–5 sentences) on why this role excites you

Applications without a portfolio link will not be considered.

We review applications on a rolling basis and will reach out within 5 business days to candidates selected for an initial conversation.

Campus Commandos is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diverse perspectives and are committed to building an inclusive team.
