Summary

The Marketing Manager is wholly responsible for developing and executing property-level marketing plans, strategic campaigns, and on-brand messaging that capture our signature "no worries" vibe while embracing the local Nashville environment.

This on-site role leads all property-level marketing, F&B activations, digital strategy, and agency management. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-energy environment, perfectly balancing the relaxed, upscale island lifestyle of the Margaritaville resort brand with a deep passion for Music City's rich culture, entertainment, and live music scene.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning, Brand Management & Local Positioning
  • Dual Brand Integration: Maintain a seamless balance between corporate Margaritaville brand identity and localized, city-specific marketing that celebrates Nashville's music culture and urban landscape.
  • Brand Integrity: Serve as the on-property brand ambassador, ensuring all collateral, promotional campaigns, social media, photography, and guest-facing messaging strictly mirror brand standards.
  • Strategic Marketing Plan: Create and execute the annual property marketing plan within budget in close consultation with the General Manager, Director of Sales, Food & Beverage leaders, and corporate brand teams.
  • Revenue Collaboration: Partner with Revenue Management and Sales teams to develop targeted promotional offers that drive room nights, maximize strategic revenue growth, and support group sales.
Third-Party Agency Management
  • Agency Oversight: Direct and manage third-party social media, digital advertising, and public relations agencies to optimize paid strategies with real-time Nashville market data.
  • Content Approval & Compliance: Review content calendars, promotional copy, and media placements to guarantee accurate brand voice, compliance, and maximum return on investment (ROI).
  • Performance Tracking: Hold external partners accountable to key metrics, analyzing monthly digital spend, campaign conversions, and ROI.
On-Site Programming, Activations & Content Creation
  • Events & F&B Activations: Develop, plan, and execute on-site activations, seasonal programming, and signature experiences across hotel and F&B outlets, including rooftop experiences, live music, mixology classes, pop-ups, and holiday events.
  • Real-Time Content Capture: Be actively present on-site to capture photos and videos showcasing daily operations, live entertainment, dining venues, and guest experiences for digital and social media platforms.
  • Collateral & Digital Assets: Handle all creative asset submission requests for print and digital collateral, ensuring accuracy across websites, menus, and on-property signage.
  • Local Partnerships & PR: Build cross-promotional relationships with local Nashville partners, music organizations, tourism boards, and influencers, while supporting public relations efforts and media visits.
Digital, Email & Administrative Execution
  • Digital Media & Database Growth: Manage the digital/social advertising budget, design monthly email newsletters with Sales/F&B teams, and train front-line teams to maintain high guest data collection standards.
  • Reporting & Calendar Management: Maintain an accurate 60-day forward-looking property marketing calendar and present monthly performance reports detailing ROI on digital spend, open rates, and conversion metrics to Corporate Marketing.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Hotel Marketing Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional hospitality marketing experience (previous hotel experience required).
  • Boutique & Independent Hotel Preference: Strong preference for candidates with a background in boutique, lifestyle, or independent hotel environments where local culture and unique guest experiences drive strategy.
  • Agency Management: Proven experience managing third-party marketing, digital, or PR agencies.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok), mobile photo/video editing, email marketing software, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Canva).
  • Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work on-site full-time, including nights, weekends, or holidays as required by key event and activation schedules.
