Job description

Overview/ Job Responsibilities
  • Support and Maintenance: Provide comprehensive support and maintenance for the Microsoft Intune mobiity platform, including configuration, deployment, and ongoiing management of mobile devices.
  • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve Tier II support tickets related to Intune functionality, derived credentials, and mobile device management. Collaborate closely with Tier I support and other relevant teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Mobile Device Management: Create, configure, and manage device profiles, policies, and compliance rules within Intune to ensure devices are properly secured and in compliance with organizational standards. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to device enrollment, synchronization, and management.
  • Derived Credential Implementation: Collaborate with relevant teams to implement and maintain derived credentials for mobile devices. Ensure proper configuration and integration of derived credential solutions with Intune for secure acess to enterprise resources.
  • Security and Monitoring: Work with enterprise security and moitoring solutions to monitor and analyze the Intune environment. Identify and respond to security incidents, performance issues, and vulnerabilities, collaborating with the appropriate teams to mitigate risks.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain accurate documentation of Intune configurations, troubleshooting steps, and issue resolution procedures. Generate regular reports to track key metrics, such as device compliance, security incidents, and performance trends.
  • Knowledge Sharing and Training: Stay updated with the latest Intune features, security best practices, and industry trends. Share knowledge and provide training to Tier I support teams and end-users on Intune functionality, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Follow and perform ITIL Incident, problem and requirements management
  • Develop and implement test strategies and document results
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related degree.
  • 3 years' work experience as a Network/System Administrator - supporting, maintaining and troubleshooting MDM systems AND Smart Devices (Apple, Android devices like tablet and smart phone, Windows iOS, etc.
  • Admin level experience with firewalls, VPN, DNS and general network and network security infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of servers & configuration & maintenance: Windows Server 2008 / 2003 / 2013, Exchange, 0365, Azure AD, Active Directory, Web server platforms (IIS, Apache), Linux Forms (Ubuntu, Fedora, RedHat, Photon, Open Suse), other mail systems, web certifications such as SSL and IIS.
  • ITIL based Service Management workflow applications such as incident, problem and requirements management and Security Administration experience: Authentication, Certificate system, etc.
  • Technical Certifications or demonstrable experience in supporting MDM products, focused on Microsoft Intune.
  • Seeking candidate who can mentor, teach and grow a small team from within to support growing customer requirements.
  • Must have great communication and documentation skills.
  • Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain a Department of Homeland Security EOD clearance (Requirements 1. US Citizenship, 2. Favorable Background Investigation)
