The Outreach and Partnerships Manager is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with current and prospective referral sources through strategic marketing, networking, and business development activities that strengthen partnerships and drive referral growth. 


Full time- Exempt (Typical hours 9:00am - 5:00pm) 

*Some after hour inquiries*

Duties/Responsibilities

  •  Build and cultivate a list of referral sources including but not limited to hospitals, other behavioral health/addiction treatment facilities, universities, individual therapists, unions, police departments, fire departments, and professional organizations through a variety of marketing and networking efforts.
  •  Develop strong relationships with referral sources not only to generate referrals to Axiom Care but as aftercare options for       Axiom Care patients or alternatives for prospective Axiom Care patients.
  •  Travel locally to network and market Axiom Care.
  •  Schedule meetings with prospective referral sources and give individualized presentations to educate them on Axiom Care's services and quality of care.
  •  Plan and organize Axiom Care's presence at conferences and events in order to network and market.
  •  Management of Patient referrals in and out (from and to referral partners)
  •  Ensure any requests from referring facilities are met whenever possible (regular status updates on patients, coordination of   aftercare planning, etc.).
  •  Regularly check in with referral sources.
  •  Maintain knowledge of current clinical practices and Axiom Care business processes.
  •  Execute all efforts in an ethical and professional manner assuring a favorable impression of self and Axiom Care.
  •  Regularly research industry locally to discover market trends and new business development opportunities.
  •  Maintain and adhere to a department budget.
  •  Log all referral contacts and communications in CRM.
  •  Routinely update management with progress and/or expectations.
  •  Perform other duties as instructed or required to successfully fill the position not herein described.

Founded in 2012, Axiom Care is a Phoenix-based behavioral health organization that aims to ensure every Arizonan has access to compassionate, effective substance use treatment. With facilities in Maricopa and Pinal Counties, we offer comprehensive services including 24/7 observation, inpatient detoxification, residential treatment, outpatient treatment, and recovery housing with a focus on underserved populations.

Beyond our full-continuum community programs, we proudly operate specialty programs for the justice-involved (in partnership with ADCRR), for members of the Navajo Nation (in partnership with the Navajo Department of Health), and for Veterans (co-located on the Victory Place campus).

Requirements

Education and Experience

  •   Minimum of 2 years in the field of behavioral health.
  •   Minimum 1 year in sales/business development.
  •   Associate Degree in Business or Marketing preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  •   Frequently required to spend multiple hours in a vehicle either as a driver or passenger.
  •   Ability to lift, carry, and transport work related material that frequently weighs up to 25lbs.and occasionally weighs in excess of 25lbs.
  •   Ability to move around buildings, elevators and occasionally tight or small spaces.
  •   Typing and sitting for lengths of time while doing computer work. This includes looking at a computer monitor for extended lengths of time.
