The team oversees business planning, IS&T's partnership strategy across Apple, and the technology that supports the organization's day-to-day operations. This team also leads IS&T's enterprise generative AI strategy and manages compliance across systems. Through its communications and employee programs, it champions the growth, inclusion, and development of everyone in IS&T and drives the standard for IS&T brand and product communications across Apple. .
IS&T Communications team establishes a cohesive voice for IS&T, writing and editing a wide variety of content across digital channels- from instructional to informational - while setting standards and guidelines for a communications portfolio that gives people the information they need at the moment they need it, with deep empathy for the information overload experienced by many in the workplace.We're looking for a senior editor and program manager to act as the IS&T Communications editorial lead. This role makes the enterprise technology experience as uncomplicated as possible-inspiring users to explore tools that help them work, and developers to build the seemingly impossible with IS&T's platforms. In this role, you'll manage editorial workflows for all product and operations communications, and partner with subject matter experts to drive effective, engaging messaging gives people the right level of detail, right when they need it.
Bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations or related communications field.7+ years of experience in professional writing, editing, or communications in a technology focused environment.Proven ability to craft clear, concise, and user-focused writing across formats such as email, newsletters, web copy, and presentations.Experience managing internal communication strategies and programs in a large, complex organization.Strong ability to simplify technology topics for non-technical audiences.
Experience with enterprise-scale communications tools and platforms.Ability to coach others on writing best practices and Apple's voice and tone.Strategic thinker who can connect communications to broader organizational goals.Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Strong collaboration skills, especially when working with cross-functional teams such as engineering, product management, HR, and executive leadership.
