Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior AWS Connect Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-grade contact center solutions. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Amazon Connect, AWS cloud services, and telephony systems, with a strong preference for healthcare industry experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and deliver scalable, secure Amazon Connect solutions (IVR, routing, omnichannel)

  • Integrate Amazon Connect with CRMs and healthcare systems

  • Leverage AWS services (Lambda, Lex, Kinesis, DynamoDB, S3) to build intelligent workflows

  • Ensure solutions meet HIPAA and compliance standards

  • Guide engineering teams, provide technical leadership, and define best practices

  • Optimize performance, reliability, and security of contact center platforms

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years in IT architecture, 4+ years in Amazon Connect or cloud contact centers

  • Strong AWS expertise (Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, API Gateway, IAM)

  • Solid understanding of telephony, SIP, IVR, and contact center operations

  • Proven ability to design secure, scalable cloud architectures

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder leadership skills

Preferred:

  • Healthcare industry experience (HIPAA, PHI handling)

  • AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification
