Job description

Front Desk Representative

The Front Desk Representative promotes quality customer service, processes sales and registrations, and is responsible for representing the company in a positive image as they will lead in growing Goldfish Swim School's member base.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greets visitors and checks students in on the computer system.
  • Discusses membership options with prospective families and register new students.
  • Answers incoming phone calls and emails in a professional manner, direct inquiries and messages to the proper staff member.
  • Assists members with purchases of merchandise and vending.
  • Prepares student schedules for instructors and schedules private parties.
  • Resolves customer concerns/complaints using a professional approach and follow-up.
  • Provides occasional administrative support for management personnel, including the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
  • Fulfills other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Employer.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required. Some college preferred.
  • One year of previous customer service and/or administrative office experience.
  • Intermediate computer skills required with knowledge using Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
  • In-person and Phone Sales experience

Work environment: While performing this job, the employee is sometimes exposed to heat and humidity. Noise level is usually moderate. Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
