Job Description We are seeking a RTC Voice Access and Security Services Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in carrier transport, SIP access, and session border controller engineering and a proven ability to drive voice access modernization programs from engineering design through implementation while communicating effectively to technical and executive stakeholders. Responsibilities: Provide program guidance and build engineering-informed timelines in partnership with the PMO.

Develop ROM/SOW estimates for equipment placement and licensing. Create and maintain supporting artifacts including BOMs, cost estimates, and placement requests. Directly support business-initiated projects and provide status, risks, and issues to leadership.

Deliver local software and hardware support for complex configurations across SBC, security services, E911, SIP and session management, LAN/WAN, VoIP, and toll-free engineering. Integrate with Avaya, Cisco, and Genesys platforms as required. Perform SIT testing, document results, and author scripts, MOPs, and low-level designs for SBC, security services, E911, and related integrations.

Prepare communication materials and structured updates for senior leadership and C-level stakeholders. Required Skills & Qualifications: 10+ years of telecommunications experience with carrier-level SIP trunking and session border controllers. Proficiency with protocols: SIP, RTP/RTCP, ISDN, H.323, H.248, MGCP, and voice codecs.

Hands-on experience with QoS configuration and analysis, jitter mitigation, and bandwidth planning. Knowledge of LAN/WAN networking, switches, and routers with 3-5 years in networking environments. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills including low-level design and MOPs.

Experience creating BOMs, ROMs, SOWs, and cost estimates for voice infrastructure projects. Proficiency with PowerPoint and Visio for executive-ready communications and diagrams. Demonstrated program communication and program management capability under tight deadlines.

Ability to work in cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams with strong customer service orientation. Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Data Communications, Computer Science, or related field. Preferred Skills: Experience with Ribbon 7k Session Border Controller and SIP/TDM trunking.
