Job description

Job Summary:

Automotive Product Engineering position responsible for product ownership from pre-silicon through production launch and industrialization phases.

  • Works together with test and design leads to ensure product compliance. Follows up to ensure production test coverage is consistent with the documented compliance.
  • Work across disciplines (wafer fab, assembly, probe, and test) to ensure new products will meet automotive cost and quality requirements.
  • Owns product characterization efforts and all data analysis confirming specification compliance and establishing optimal limits for Automatic Test Equipment prior to releasing products into manufacturing.
  • Ensures correlation between the ATE test results and the bench validation results.
  • Works together with test and quality leads to ensure products will meet automotive reliability requirements.
  • Executes product qualification per plan. Track and test all read points and drive corrective actions as needed.
  • Capable to drive failure analysis and diagnosis of qualification issues, yield issues and customer returns.
  • Provides engineering disposition based on bin limits, fab parametric correlation, and other relevant data to ensure the highest quality at the lowest cost.
  • Drives and manages volume ramp working together with the manufacturing teams to ensure a successful ramp.
  • Drives and prepares training to ensure sustaining engineers can handle daily production execution and retain required quality/cost.
