Outside Sales Representative – San Antonio, TX
 
Veterans Auto Warranty, Inc. is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for the San Antonio, Texas area. We provide high-quality warranty solutions, responsive customer service, efficient claims support, and lasting partnerships with automotive dealers.
 
Position Overview:
 
The Outside Sales Representative develops and manages relationships with new and used automotive dealerships to grow revenue across the assigned territory. Key responsibilities include presenting and training dealership staff on our warranty solutions to support sales goals and performance targets. This role offers strong earning potential, including a base salary, uncapped commissions, and a monthly expense allowance.
 
Position Responsibilities:
 
  • Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy to generate new business with automotive dealerships across the assigned territory.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of our solutions, brand, and mission to help dealerships grow and innovate.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealership personnel, including owners, general managers, sales managers, and finance managers.
  • Present and train dealership staff on our solutions to improve understanding and sales performance.
  • Partner with internal teams, including claims and customer service, to strengthen dealer relationships and maintain high satisfaction.
  • Use the CRM system to track sales activity and dealer communications.
  • Meet or exceed monthly targets for sales, new account growth, and retention.
 Position Qualifications:
 
  • Must reside within the assigned territory.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 80% within the assigned territory.
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance are required.
  • Proven success in territory sales, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to perform well independently and as part of a sales team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Zoom Workplace.
Position Compensation:
 
  • Base salary plus uncapped commissions 
  • Monthly paid commission 
  • Monthly expense allowance
  • Bi-annual clothing allowance 
  • Quarterly bonus opportunities
