ResponsibilitiesOversee the daily operations of the service department to ensure a steady, high-quality workflow.
Greet customers as they arrive, listen to their concerns, and help them understand the necessary repairs for their vehicles.
Manage the shop schedule, ensuring that our technicians have the time and resources they need to complete jobs correctly the first time.
Review repair orders for accuracy and ensure that all safety standards and manufacturer requirements are met.
Foster a supportive and collaborative culture among the shop team, encouraging ongoing professional growth and technical development.
Maintain regular communication with customers regarding repair progress, pricing, and vehicle status updates.
Submit warranty claims and manager the warranty schedule on a daily basis.
RequirementsMinimum of five years of experience in automotive service management or a lead technician role.
Technical knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, repair procedures, and shop equipment.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Experience using automotive shop management software for scheduling and invoicing.
Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills.
Ability to interpret complex repair orders and explain them clearly to customers.
