Job description

SUMMARY

The Sales Intern will provide essential operational support and help ensure timely and efficient execution of key initiatives.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assist the Key Account Sales team with customer information management, data consolidation, and daily sales support.

2. Assist in tracking key customer projects and support the team with quotation preparation, contract follow-up, order entry, and coordination of internal approval processes.

3. Collect market information on the automotive industry, competitors, and customer developments, and prepare basic market research reports.

4. Support the sales team in maintaining customer records, project tracking sheets, sales forecasts, and payment collection data.

5. Assist with customer visit arrangements, internal project meetings, and cross-functional communication to support project execution.

6. Complete other tasks related to sales support and market research as assigned by the supervisor.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS 

1. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. Majors in Marketing, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Electronic Engineering, International Trade, Business Administration, or related fields are preferred.

2. Strong interest in the automotive industry, automotive components, and B2B sales, with an interest in developing a long-term career in sales or business development.

3. Good communication, learning, execution, and ability to work under pressure. Strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, and customer service orientation.

4. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with basic data processing and analytical skills.

5. Able to work at least 3 days per week. Candidates who can commit to an internship of 6 months or longer are preferred.

6. At least three days of on-site work are required at the Wixom office in the U.S.
