 Job Summary

Our successful dealership is looking for an Automotive Sales Manager and GSM to join our team. You will be responsible for desking, approving and closing deals, overseeing, developing and educating our sales department on best practices. This could include teaching the most effective ways to generate leads, provide thorough follow-up, and close deals. You will be responsible for providing leadership to the sales team to ensure they meet their sales goals. 
It is important that the sales team is held to the highest ethical standards, and we expect you to support those standards and practices. If you have a proven track record of leading a successful sales team, we want to hear from you!
 
Responsibilities 
  • Educate salespeople on the most effective ways to generate leads, provide thorough follow-up, and close deals
  • Oversee the sales team's day-to-day activities, maintaining a high degree of employee morale 
  • Track prospective and existing customers using the company’s preferred CRM from initial contact to closing the deal and beyond
  • Foster high customer satisfaction with the car buying experience, encouraging referrals and repeat business
  • Track car sales on a regular basis and forecast future sales
Qualifications 
  • A minimum of five years of car dealership experience, with at least one year in a management role, is preferred
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Strong working knowledge of the automotive industry and any local, state, or federal regulations that affect vehicle sales and/or the automotive industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other basic computer programs
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are required
