Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management:
    • Monitor and manage all aspects of the dealership financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
  • Dealership Accounting:
    • Oversee the recording and reconciliation of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and industry standards.
    • Manage the dealership financial documents, collaborating with the accounting team as necessary.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance Accounting processes, utilizing technology and best practices to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Lead and manage the assigned accounting team, providing guidance, training, and support to promote professional growth and performance excellence.
    • Oversee employee performance making sure they meet expectations and address any issues or concerns.
    • Assists when necessary to fill in for staff shortages due to vacancies, leaves of absence, etc.
  • Relationship Building:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, service, parts and operations, to ensure alignment of financial goals and accurate reporting.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of Automotive experience as a Office Manager or Account Manager in an automotive dealership
  • Dealership experience Only
