Job description

Senior Manager, Business Transformation & Intelligent Automation
GardaWorld is seeking a Senior Manager, Business Transformation & Intelligent Automation to join the Information Technology organization and lead the development of technology solutions that modernize and automate operations.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting intelligent automation solutions using artificial intelligence, workflow automation, system integrations, and modern application technologies. The successful candidate will work directly with stakeholders to understand business challenges, identify automation opportunities, and personally build scalable solutions that improve operational efficiency, reduce manual effort, and strengthen internal controls.
This role requires strong technical expertise and the ability to independently architect, develop, test, deploy, and support production-ready solutions while collaborating with IT teams on larger enterprise initiatives.

Your Responsibilities:
Solution Development & Engineering
  • Design, develop, configure, test, deploy, and support automation solutions, business applications, integrations, and AI-enabled workflows.
  • Build scalable solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, scripting, APIs, enterprise integrations, and other modern development technologies.
  • Develop reusable automation components and technical solutions that improve business operations.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing applications and automation solutions.
  • Produce clean, maintainable code and technical documentation aligned with IT standards.
Intelligent Automation & Artificial Intelligence
  • Develop automation solutions that eliminate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Build AI-powered solutions using Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, Power Platform, and other enterprise technologies.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and rapidly develop proof-of-concept solutions.
  • Recommend and implement practical AI capabilities that deliver measurable business value.
Business Process & Solution Design
  • Partner directly with stakeholders to understand operational challenges and business requirements.
  • Analyze business processes to identify automation and technology opportunities.
  • Translate functional requirements into technical designs and production-ready solutions.
  • Design future-state workflows that improve efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.
Enterprise Technology & Integration
  • Develop integrations between enterprise applications using APIs, connectors, and data services.
  • Evaluate existing technologies and recommend enhancements or new solutions where appropriate.
  • Participate in software evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and technology selection.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture.
Project Delivery together with IT Solutions team
  • Lead solution delivery from requirements gathering through development, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Manage priorities, timelines, technical documentation, and stakeholder communication.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, and application support teams as needed.
  • Measure and communicate the operational impact of implemented solutions.
Governance & Continuous Improvement
  • Ensure all solutions comply with existing IT governance, cybersecurity, compliance, and development standards.
  • Monitor solution performance and continuously enhance functionality and reliability.
  • Identify new opportunities to leverage automation and AI to improve Finance operations.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions that support GardaWorld's technology strategy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications:
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing enterprise technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience building workflow automations, business applications, integrations, or AI-enabled solutions.
  • Experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, or comparable technologies.
  • Experience integrating enterprise systems using APIs, web services, SQL, or other integration technologies.
  • Proficiency with one or more programming or scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, SQL, or similar.
  • Experience following the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively with business stakeholders.
