Job Description

Job Title: Performance/Automation Testing Lead

Work Location: US-FL-Boca Raton

Position Description/Responsibilities:

Seeking a highly motivated individual for a Performance testing lead role. This is initially a hands-on role responsible to conduct performance testing for an ERP implementation in the hospitality industry. In parallel, develop the performance testing standards, toolset and acceptable limits for overall performance of various applications within the enterprise portfolio. Participate in building the performance testing capability, as well as automation, in the QA team.

Essential Responsibilities:

Prepares for and takes part in testing activities for production deployments and remediation

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field or equivalent work experience
Typically requires 7+ years of information technology work experience and 5+ years of experience working on performance engineering and performance testing experience
Familiarity with testing Microsoft based websites, e-commerce platforms and applications - .Net, SQL Server, Oracle, Web Services
Requires knowledge of multiple software development methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile
Requires experience in common development languages, web application architectures, database technologies and performance tuning capabilities on multiple computing platforms
Requires experience in monitoring of performance test executions (i.e. memory, CPU, bottlenecks, response times, exceptions, etc.)
Requires strong experience with integration, stress, performance, scalability, and/or load testing
Requires leadership skills with a proven track record of building and growing strong teams
