Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position in Orlando, FL is $110,573 - $197,700.00 per year and this role may be eligible to earn incentive compensation. In addition, this position is eligible for time off in accordance with Company policies, including paid sick leave, paid parental leave, PTO (for non-exempt employees) or non-accrued flexible vacation (for exempt employees).
Duties: Develop frontend web applications using JavaScript and TypeScript frameworks including ReactJS, Preact and Vite. Develop server-side web applications or APIs using frameworks including NodeJS. Design and deploy web applications using Cloud-based components including AWS Cloud Formation, AWS CDK, AWS Cloudfront, AWS Lambda, AWS S3, AWS SNS, AWS API Gateway, AWS Step Functions, AWS SQS, AWS ECS, AWS EKS, AWS EC2, AWS ELB and Docker. Build and maintain data stores for deployed applications using AWS RDS/MySQL, AWS DynamoDB, and ElasticSearch. Build or configure monitoring and alerting of frontend and server-side applications and infrastructure. Implement unit tests and conduct code reviews with other team members to ensure code is properly designed, developed for scale, and tuned for performance needs. Collaborate closely with other engineers, engineering managers, business analysts and product owners to deliver cloud-based solutions that meet marketing and sales objectives. Working with package managers including NPM.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 36 months of experience in the job offered or in a Software Development Engineer-related occupation. Position requires experience in the following: Working with JavaScript and TypeScript; Utilizing Frontend Libraries including NextJS, ReactJS and Preact; Utilizing frontend frameworks such as Vite or Vue; Utilizing Backend runtime environment including NodeJS and Express.js framework; Working with Cloud Technologies including AWS Cloud Formation, AWS CDK, AWS Cloudfront, AWS Lambda, AWS S3, AWS SNS,AWS API Gateway, AWS Step Functions, AWS SQS, AWS ECS, AWS EKS, AWS EC2, AWS ELB and Docker; Working with Data Storage and retrieval technologies including AWS RDS/MySQL, AWS DynamoDB, ElasticSearch and either Knex or Sequelize; Utilizing APM tools including Datadog and Pagerduty.
