Job Requirements

The ideal candidate for the Programmer II position should possess excellent technical skills and demonstrate a strong ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment. They must be a proficient problem solver with specialized expertise in HVAC Controls and Building Automation programming, capable of designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex control systems. Additionally, the candidate should have a solid understanding of industry standards and best practices, with a commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable solutions in a timely manner. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to continuous learning and process improvement are also essential for success in this full-time regular role.


Work Experience
  • At least two (2) years of experience as an HVAC controls technician.
  • Experience programming HVAC controls.
  • Experience with Building Automation Control Systems such as Schneider Electric, EcoStruxure, I/A Series, Andover Continuum, and/or Tridium Niagara R2/AX/N4.
  • Experience with Building Automation Protocols including LON, BACnet, and Modbus.

Additional skills preferred but not required

  • Five (5) years of experience as an HVAC controls technician.
  • Two (2) years of experience as an HVAC controls programmer.
  • Two (2) years of experience with Schneider Electric EcoStruxure Building Operation.
  • EcoStruxure Building Operation Certification.
  • Experience with JavaScript.
