Job description

Are you looking for a rewarding learning experience that will also fulfill academic requirements?
Do you have interest in exploring career opportunities in the human services, education, or accounting/finance fields?
As a Paid Intern at Anderson Center for Autism, you’ll get the chance to do far more than earn college credits. You’ll learn new skills, develop confidence, work on behalf of an important mission: optimizing the quality of life for individuals with autism.
Our residential, educational, clinical, vocational, and consulting/training services are designed to help enrich life for the students, residents, families, and communities who are impacted by our services here and around the world, so we have many departments and disciplines that work together toward our collective success.
This internship experience can open your eyes to career pathways - and you’ll also discover so much about yourself along the way!
We invite you to pursue paid internship opportunities in the following areas:

  • Direct Support (Adult Program and our Children’s Programs)
  • Day Habilitation
  • Education Center (as a Teacher’s Aide)
  • Accounting/Finance Department


Paid Internships will pay New York State minimum wage.
Please Note: participants in our paid internship program are not entitled to benefits.
