What is an authorizations manager?

An Authorizations Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the approval process for various transactions, services, or procedures within an organization, often in fields like healthcare, finance, or insurance. They ensure that requests meet policy guidelines, compliance standards, and organizational protocols before granting approval. The role involves coordinating with internal teams and external parties, reviewing documentation, and maintaining accurate records.
